“Liz had contacted me to change the time of our pickup in Auckland an hour earlier so that we wouldn't be delayed by the Easter weekend traffic. Geoff picked us up in a 7 seater and took us to their Lodge in Warkworth where we met Liz and our driver/guide Nigel. On the way to Chocolate Brown we picked up another couple. We tasted and bought some of the delicious and unusual handmade chocolates before heading off to our 1st wine tasting. We had lunch overlooking Hauraki Gulf at the 2nd vineyard, followed by the 3rd wine tasting and then a beer tasting. To round everything off we had delicious homemade ice cream. Liz and Geoff are very friendly and welcoming and Nigel is an excellent guide with extensive knowledge of the area and the wineries. A very enjoyable day out.”
